Privacy Policy

The short version

Nightforge doesn't have user accounts. There's no sign-up, no login, no profile. When you buy a product, we collect the email address you give Stripe at checkout so we can send you your download link. That's it. We don't run analytics, we don't use tracking cookies, and we don't sell or share your data with anyone except the processors required to make the purchase and delivery work.

What we collect

Payment and email. Checkout is handled entirely by Stripe. Nightforge never sees or stores your card details — Stripe processes the payment and passes us your email address and a payment confirmation. We store that email address, along with the product purchased and the transaction reference, so we can email you a download link and honor re-download requests for 7 days after purchase.

Nothing else. We don't collect your name, address, phone number, or any other personal information beyond the email Stripe passes us at checkout. We don't run web analytics, ad pixels, or session recording on this site, and we don't set tracking cookies of our own.

Who we share it with

Stripe processes every payment and necessarily sees your card details and email — see Stripe's privacy policy for how they handle it. Supabase hosts the database where your order record (email, product, transaction reference) is stored, and the email service we use to send your download link and order confirmation. None of these processors use your data for their own marketing — they're infrastructure, not third parties we sell data to.

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share your email address with anyone for marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

Order records (email, product, transaction reference) are kept indefinitely so we can honor re-download requests, handle refund or support inquiries, and meet our own tax and accounting obligations. Your download link itself expires 7 days after purchase, but the underlying order record persists so you can contact us for a fresh link if you need one later.

Cookies

Nightforge doesn't set its own cookies. Stripe's checkout page, which you're briefly redirected to in order to pay, sets its own cookies under its own domain to process your payment securely — that's governed by Stripe's privacy policy, not ours.

Your rights

You can ask us what order data we have on file for your email address, ask us to delete it (subject to our own legal obligation to retain transaction records for accounting/tax purposes), or ask us to resend a download link. Contact us using the email below and we'll respond directly — there's no self-serve account portal since there are no accounts.

Changes to this policy

If what we collect or how we use it changes, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above. We won't backdate or silently change a material term without updating this date.
